WHAT IS GOOGLE'S BARD?

Hi guys, this is Siddharth Singh, and today's blog is about the Google AI chat bot. Here you will know how bard and chat gpt are different and which one is better.

Google announced Bard at their live event in Paris on February 20, 2023. Just one month later, Google launched their AI chatbot, "Bard," with the potential to surpass Chat GPT.

 

 

What is Google Bard?

Bard is an artificial intelligence chat bot quite similar to Chat GPT. Bard uses Google internet data and is powered by LaMda (Language Model for Dialogue Applications), Google’s language model for dialogue applications. Up until now, this has been a closed beta technology. LaMDA was trained on human dialogue and stories, allowing it to engage in open-ended conversations for Bard just like Chat, GPT, and Google Bard, as well as having some limitations like However, Bard is still under development, and it has some limitations. Here are a few of them:

1. It can be biassed sometimes.

2. It can give you outdated information sometimes, but Bard's developers are working on it.

3. It does not remember what the user said earlier in the conversation.

 

CAPAIBILITIES OF GOOGLE BARD!

The Google Bard AI chat bot has a lot of capabilities, such as having more capabilities than a lot of chat bots that are available on the internet. Some of the capabilities of Google Bard are

1. With Google Bard You can search the internet in real time, unlike OpenAI's chat gpt.

2. With Google Bard, you can use voice input, which can save you a lot of time. This feature is also not available in a lot of AI chat bots.

3. Google Bard allows us to summarise web pages, which I found very useful; it saves a lot of time and effort. This feature of Google Bard is my favourite one.

4. Google Bard provides multiple versions of its response. It generates three responses to the same question automatically.

5. Google Bard can explain any code, for example. Give a link to Bard and ask it a question about a file. It'll be able to explain what it's for and how it works.

 

 

Google Bard VS OpenAI Chat GPT

ChatGPT is a large-scale language model developed by OpenAI. It is based on the GPT (Generative Pre-training Transformer) architecture and is fine-tuned on conversational data, making it particularly well-suited for tasks such as answering questions, generating text, and carrying out conversation.

PROS AND CONS OF CHAT GPT, AND BARD

PROS OF CHAT GPT

1. The ChatGPT remembers what the user has said before.

2. Learning and improvement: Chat GPT can continuously learn and improve through feedback. By providing it with corrections or ratings on its responses

3. ChatGPT can handle a diverse set of tasks. Like anything casual, and like anything very important.

 

CONS OF CHAT GPT

1. OPENAI CHAT GPT has limited knowledge of events after 2021, unlike Google Bard.

2. Sometimes it gives incorrect or harmful information.

3. Chat GPT has a lack of real-world understanding. It doesn't have real-world knowledge beyond what it has been trained in.

 

PROS OF GOOGLE BARD

1. Google Bard has voice input. Which gives Google Bard an upper hand.

2. With Google Bard, you can summarise web pages.

3. It doesn't have limited knowledge, because it have all the data that is available on the internet

 

CONS OF GOOGLE BARD

1. Google Bard doesn't remember what the user has said before.

2. Inaccuracy:Google Bard is still in development, which is why it has an inaccuracy.

3. Sometimes Google Bard may produce vague or ambiguous responses.
